Terms
Last updated 4 July 2026
Draft — pending counsel review. This is not the final policy and is not legal advice. We review these with a lawyer before we send any public invite.
The short version
- Didly is a study tool. Use it for your own coursework.
- You keep the rights to the materials you upload. You give us permission to process them so the product can work for you.
- Only upload things you are allowed to. That includes getting consent before recording other people.
- Answers are drawn from your own sources and cited, but check anything important against the original — the agent can still be wrong.
- You can leave any time. When you delete your account, we destroy your data as described in the privacy policy.
Using Didly
Didly captures your notes, slides, and lectures, answers your questions with cited sources, and tracks your deadlines. Use it for your own study. Do not use it to break your school's rules or the law, and do not try to reach another user's Notebook.
Your content
You own what you upload. You grant us a limited licence to store and process your materials for the sole purpose of running the features you turned on. We do not claim your work, and we do not use it to train shared models.
You promise you have the right to upload what you upload. Where a recording captures other people, getting consent is your responsibility, under your institution's rules and local law.
What to expect
Answers draw only on your own materials and carry citations, but the agent can still make mistakes. Check anything that matters — a grade weight, a deadline, an exam date — against the original source. Didly is a study aid, not a replacement for your own judgement.
Leaving
You can delete your account at any time. When you do, we destroy your tenant's encryption key so your data becomes unreadable, as set out in the privacy policy.
Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you and note it in the changelog. Questions go to support@didly.ai.
